Emily Spindles from Adam's Woodshop [bottom whorl] [top whorl] [adam's woodshop] [spindle page] The Emily spindles have approximately a 10" shaft and 3" whorl. They have a "shepherd's crook"-type hook, and the top whorls are notched at 3 and 9 o'clock. We named them Emily because the name means "Industrious" and that is just what these little spindles are! They work so well, because they are made so well. Hand turned on the lathe to a perfect balance and complemented by a well-adjusted hook, the understated elegance of the spindle enhances the natural woods and makes this tool a pleasure to use and behold.
Sorry - out of stock. Adam with an Emily spindle.
