Kumihimo, Braiding and Cordmaking

Cherry Lucet
A lyre shaped tool used to make braids.  Common in Victorian sewing boxes, it was usually made of ivory or shell.  This hardwood lucet is available with an integral handle for ease of use.

Bone Lucet
A small bone lucet in the traditional Victorian form. 3.5" x 1.3."

Mini Decorative Wood Lucet
A small, useable, pocket lucet with decorative laminations.  1 3/4" wide by 4" tall.  1/8th inch thick.

Kumihimo 32-Slot Round Braiding Board
A 4-1/4" round, 32 slot braiding board made of durable foam for making lanyards and braids. Includes instruction for round, flat, rectangular and square 8-strand braids.  Our most popular kumihimo board!
