Lap Looms
Harrisville Lap Looms and The Wonder Wand Portable, hardwood frame looms that can be woven on while resting on a table, floor, or, yes, your lap! They were designed to help develop fine motor control, finger dexterity and concentration, as well as some basic mathematical skills. Make pillows, purses, rugs for doll houses, wallhangings, tote bags and much more. Available in two sizes. Suitable for ages 7 and up.

Harrisville Lap Loom Refills These Lap Loom Project Kits have been designed to be woven on Lap Looms A or B. Beginners as well as more advanced weavers will find them rewarding and fun! Each kit includes illustrated instructions, cotton warp string, a plastic needle, and all of the yarn necessary to complete the project.
This picture shows how the wand is used to facilitate changing sheds, by pushing down every other warp thread.
