This sweater is knit in the round from the top down. It can be made to any size by increasing or decreasing the number of sts between vertical designs. Cable patterns are given in easy-to-follow diagrams. Quite striking! It's easy to get it to fit because you can try it on as you go.

Knit in the round from the neck down. Pattern is created by dip-dying yarn, then you knit one color and purl the other. The result is interesting and mystical. Everyone will wonder how you did it!

Entrelac squares are knit one by one, each "row" with a different color. It's like weaving a basket. This sweater is knit from sleeve to sleeve. Diagrams help with the entrelac design. The dimension of the squares determine the size

Knit from the neck down. You can add any patterns that you like.  It's easy to get it to fit because you can try it on as you go.  This sweater has raglan sleeves, and is crafted without any seams. Once you are done with the sweater -- you are done. Just put it on and go.

This beautiful sweater mixes cable and color for a striking effect. It's an easy fit because you begin at the neck and work down, trying it on for fit as you go. Diagrams help with the cables.

Fun seams are the design element. You knit eight rectangles and join them with a special stitch and brightly colored yarn. Sleeve panels are made to fit with easy decreases. Knit by hand or machine. Small panels make this a good carry-along project.

This ancient clothing technique can be woven, knit or crochet in many variations. All you do is make a square with well-placed slits and fold it over for the arms. Short sleeves come to the elbow.  This style is sometimes called the "Bog Shirt." Samples of this design, made from cut skins, have been found in archeological digs - and are one of mankind's oldest clothing designs. It is still a fantastic way to make a shirt for modern knitters.

This sweater is knit from the bottom up with easy decreases for yoke. All in one piece. Charted patterns make it easy to knit in your favorite herd of sheep in a fenced field.  Add as many sheep as you like.

This sweater is knit from the top down, all in one piece, with raglan sleeves. The easiest sweater to get to fit right because you try it on as you go. Collar has a slight v-shape for extra comfort. Given in stockinette stitch - you can add any design elements you wish.

Knit from the top down with a modified raglan - all the advantages of a raglan with the shape of a set sleeve. Sleeves are picked up and knit to cuff. Connie used several lace patterns on her sweater and knit it in a speckled cotton. So comfy!

This sweater can be knit in a variety of styles with color and texture patterns of your choice. Knit from the bottom up, with a saddle shoulder which blends into a sleeve knit downward. Very interesting to knit, and easy to fit.

Another great way to knit a sweater with easy calculations. This one starts at the collar going sideways into the two saddle shoulders. The body and sleeves then are knit down from the saddle shoulder panel. You can try it on as you go. It is really easy to get it to fit right, and great for adding lots of colors, knit textures, lace -or- what ever you want. Connie did hers with over 10 colors of spindle spun yarn!
