These patterns were written with the spinner in mind, but are a boon to any knitter, crocheter or weaver. Each pattern tells you how to find YOUR gauge with YOUR yarn to make an item that fits YOU (or whomever you are making it for)!

I wanted to sit down and knit a hat without measuring anything or knitting a swatch, so that's what I did! First you knit the band until it fits, join it with an invisible seam, and pick up stitches to finish top of the head. Unlimited variations.

Skill Level: Experienced. Entrelac is very fun, but it takes a little figuring to see how it goes. This pattern has charts to help.
Yarn Suggestion: Best with a fine to medium weight yarn. Will need approximately 4 to 5 ounces, depending on size. Will need at least 3 colors.
It is very easy to get this entrelac hat to fit. Hat is started at the center top, and knit in the round until it is the right size. Starting this hat is very easy, with a simple i-cord. Entrelac stitch is begun after it has reached correct size. This hat is also included in Entrelac Vest, and Llama Vest, so you won't want to buy this pattern if you are also purchasing either of those vest patterns.
